CREOBA – Commercial REO & BPO Classes

These guys (CREOBA) never cease to amaze me.  They are now offering commercial REO certification courses.  Certified by whom, I have no idea.  Do the banks know about this?  Doubtful.  Will they recognize the just-created designation?  Doubtful.  Do the CREOBA members organizing or leading these seminars know what they are talking about?  Doubtful.  I hate to keep picking on these poor guys but it is just getting ridiculous.  They do deserve an “A” for effort though.

Better hurry up.  Spots are filling up fast!  This distinction can be yours for the low,low price of $495 if you register before September 22nd ($635 after).  Of course, CREOBA members get preferential pricing and will pay just $355 for the course.

Here is the best part of CREOBA’s course solicitation email:

All Courses include a test and certificate

This strikes me as being very credible.  Actually, not.  Here is a mock-up of the CREOBA Commercial REO Certification certificate:

  1. LOL….I have spoken with them and couldn't agree more with you! They want you to pay a fee for a territory based on zip code coverage. Definitely in Left Field….

      Fella,

I belong to the association, and have already gotten business from the an asset manager thru CREOBA. Your fellow blogger Rodriguez has been dogging the association for some time and many of his comments are really getting old. Much of what he says is unfounded and unsubstantiated. I took a couple of the courses and they were great in preparing me for the Commercial REO market that is just starting to emerge. The instructors are very experienced in their given field. How many courses if any have you taken? Do you know any of their instructors? I suggest you look before you leap. Specializing in 1031s is not license to critize those that may or may not agree with you.

      • Very interesting. You are so full of shit it is not even funny. Let me point out a couple of facts about your comment:

        1) Your IP address is 74.9.237.179 Interestingly enough, this IP address is from Westlake Village, CA – the exact same place that CREOBA is based. Coincidence? I think not.

        2) The domain name you left (www.dixoncommercialreo.com) was not only suspect it is not even registered – it is still available. Anyone can go buy it right now.

CREOBA is a total joke. You are a shill and a comment troll. Go back to the hole from which you came.

NOTE TO ALL CREOBA EMPLOYEES: If you keep trying to falsify the truth you will only be further exposed as the fraud that you are. Time to throw in the towel.

I agree with you Chris. CREOBA is a scam. I almost signed up with them. When I decided not to, this is what Herman Neuman replied with a nasty e-mail when I told them that I did not want to join their association. I am residential broker and I am trying to get some training courses to do commercial bpos. I have no interest in practicing commercial real estate. Lesson learned: Always do your research before joining any association.

Man, that is classic!!! Well done, detective. I've been researching them as well here in Charlotte. I wrote a couple of 'members' and never received responses. I just wanted to learn if they have benefited from the association. Regardless of market conditions, its never a good time to just throw money away.
